Starting with a fresh M1025 A1 from the government, this vehicle was ready to go to war.
We started the process of gently removing the military items we could not use and preparing to modify the vehicle. Our fabricator is very talented and willing to take our “ideas and visions” and convert them to a level of perfection with an eye for detail. The hearse has all-metal fabrication for durability and flexibility during use, as the HMMWV flexes during normal use.
We created a unique canopy and added some one-of-a-kind windows at the rear of the vehicle to produce the finest-looking military funeral carriage in the world. This is definitely the very first hardtop purpose-built vehicle of its kind.
With the vehicle complete, we have driven to many funerals, getting waves, honks of kindness, hats off, and even the occasional respectful car pulling to the side of the road as we travel to cemeteries in and around Missouri. HONOR RIDE LLC leaves its mark with great support from veterans such as the Patriot Guard, VFW, and American Legion, all of whom enjoy its participation in military honors.
